I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay because there was blood on the sheets in my room. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, housekeeping only changed the sheets on that bed and failed to properly clean the rest of the room. I also experienced a serious privacy issue on the morning of checkout. My daughter and I were still in the room and were not dressed when a male staff member entered our room without knocking or providing any notice. My scheduled checkout time was 12:00 PM, yet he entered the room around 10:00 AM. This was completely inappropriate and made us very uncomfortable. I personally discussed all of these concerns with the General Manager, Takeisha, and she told me that she would honor a full refund because of the condition of the room and the invasion of our privacy. However, despite this, Booking.com has only credited me approximately $43, even though my room cost over $300. This is not the full refund that I was told would be honored by the General Manager. I am requesting that Booking.com review this matter again and issue the full refund that was approved by the hotel’s General Manager. I do not believe a $43 credit is an appropriate resolution given the blood found on the bedding, the failure to properly clean the room, and the unauthorized entry into our room while my daughter and I were undressed. I would appreciate this matter being escalated and resolved promptly.
